Labour Contract Licence (CLRA Registration) in India

Under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, establishments engaging contract workers must register and obtain a labour contract licence. Types include Principal Employer Registration and Contractor Licence, depending on whether you hire through or act as a contractor.

Who can apply?

Any business or establishment employing 20 or more contract workers in a year, as well as contractors supplying labour to principal employers, are required to obtain registration.
